Netpak's 15-Year Carbon Reduction Story: A Cleaner World by 36 Tons Every Year
The Netpak Forest, which started 15 years ago, has become the most beautiful fulfillment of our promise to nature today.
Netpak Ambalaj, aiming to create value beyond production and make a lasting contribution to the environment, initiated sapling planting in 2010 within the framework of the ÇEKÜL Foundation's 7 Forests Project.
Today, these saplings have grown, taken root, and our forest now produces negative carbon.
An average of 36 tons of carbon dioxide (CO₂) is removed from nature every year.
Tangible Results in Carbon Balancing
- An average of 36 tons of CO₂ is removed from the atmosphere annually.
- A total of approximately 400 tons of carbon reduction has been achieved in 15 years.
Netpak's Environmental Vision: "We Produce, But We Don't Consume Nature"
Netpak Ambalaj prioritizes environmental responsibility at every stage of its production processes:
- Use of recycled raw materials in nonwoven bag production,
- Zero Waste and Circular Economy practices,
- Afforestation and environmental projects with local collaborations. This holistic approach has made Netpak not only an environmentally conscious producer but also a pioneer of sustainable transformation.
A Journey Started with a Sapling, a Legacy Extending to the FutureNetpak's commitment to the environment is shaped by a long-term legacy understanding, beyond a corporate strategy.
Every sapling planted 15 years ago is now a living carbon sink, providing breath to nature.
The goal for the next 15 years is to increase this environmental contribution and achieve a carbon-neutral production model."At that time, environmental investment was not a choice, but a belief for us. Today, looking back, seeing the saplings planted 15 years ago turn into a forest gives us great pride, as both nature and humanity have won."
